The vacay is over and I'm back at work. I had so much fun. There are too many pictures and videos to share, but I'm sure I'll find the time to post them here. I posted all the pics on fb...I heart pictures :)
We had so much fun it was ridiculous. I miss those chicks already. I never really formed a good evil plan to make them miss their flights..ah well, the party will resume in Dallas later.
I ate like two starving pigs while they were here, but I didn't care one bit. I had the best pork chops courtesy of Luka's in Oakland, and the best jerk chicken with plantains and black beans courtesy of Levende's in Oakland....so YUMMY. There was other delicious food, but I can't even concentrate on that after thinkign about that dang pork chop.
Other than our hiking and indoor skydiving, we also biked the Golden Gate Bridge. I've been to and across that bridge countless times, but nothing was more breathtaking than biking across it. We went from the Fisherman's Wharf, across the bridge and to the next city (Saulsalito) and every inch of the way was magnificent. We decided to take the ferry back over to the Wharf, so our total bike distance was only 8 miles. The uphill stuff was a killer, but it was well worth it!
I know I talked about the wine tasting a bit already, but it was one of the highlights of the entire vacay for me. First off, I love wine; second, I love wine tasting; and third, I was with my homie who loves wine too. I am a red fan...it's a wrap. I still love my Blancs and reisling, but if I can get some Sangiovese, I'll be a happy girl. One of the first things I'll be doing in Dallas is checking out their wine bars!
I also think I'm going to join a couple of wine clubs. A moment of free advertising: VJB winery and cellars is where it's at!
Back to the trip, the spa was spectacular as well. I got a javanese lulur body treatment, which is an old middle eastern (maybe asian) custom that brides receive every day for 40 days preceeding their wedding. It consists of a blended massage (shiatsu and swedish), a body scrub, yogurt treatment, and bath. That bath was amazing...that's as best I can describe it.
Of course we played super tourist and took pics of everything, lol. We danced...I love dancing. I used to need alcohol in order to get on the dance floor, but that long went away. Give me some music and I'm on it! We went to a bbq bash and I think I danced the entire time, excluding when it was time to eat.
Speaking of music and dancing - Am I the only black person that loves Lady GaGa...she's that fire. I absolutely love her songs. Don't let me hear Poker face...I'm going nuts!
Keeping with music - Am I one of the few who know about and LOVE Drake. He doesn't have an official album out, but his mixed tapes are the absolute truth. (haters no need to comment, lol). If anyone can, it's him who can bring back the light skinned brothas...haha.
Back to the vacay again, So all in all we had 7 days of great fun. It was great spending some time with them and I can't wait until next year's trip. The mini trips in between will be a blast too.
I know we did more, but I can't remember at this point...it's all a fun blur :D

Lady Gaga rocks. I cannot wait for my vacation I must say. But I am so glad you had a blast with tu amigas!
The only Drake song I've heard is the one with Lil Wayne and that was HOT! But I'm a lil wayne fan. So when do you guys pack up for Dallas?
Lady Gaga is cool. Drake's mixtape is FIYAH. I've been bumping that for a minute! I saw him when he was on DeGrassi High....lol!
You went red on me? Aretha...you should be ashamed. I'm going to try those wines you named because I can't quite get with red wines so I just keep tasting and being disappointed.
Lady Gaga I'll look her up and Drake..my co-worker listens to on the way to the job.. yeah everybody down here are drake-fanatics!
I could really use a massage girl..but not just a lotioned-pat-down..something nice lol. I had the worse massage...(not gonna blog in your comment form) LOL
